This book changed my life. I've read a lot of books on mindfulness and this one is the best by far. It gave simple, easy to understand examples of many ways to be mindful.

We all need help to handle stress in this life. This book is great!
Practical, helpful, approachable, and approved by my MBCT therapist! I have taken my time reading it and trying some of the exercises included and plan on returning to it periodically.
This was a delightful surprise. I think I read it just because it was a kindle suggestion. You can kind of miss your whole life when each time you are doing something, in your mind you are always planning on what your next task is. Or listening to someone and just waiting for your turn to talk. Take a moment and "be in the now", because right now is all you have (maybe). It also touched on meditation, and made some good points, where if your mind goes off somewhere, you dont have to be mad at yourself, and think "I can't do this", You ARE doing it, the thought is there, just let it pass, and continue on. That was your meditation of that day. I will actually reread it one day.
I have been aware of mindfulness since the Zins' writings fascinated and inspired me decades ago. With time, however, more recent events obscure earlier memories. This book is a godsend. This, my re-introduction to a life fully savored in the here and now, is an incredible beginning for me. Once more I dip my toes into the sparkling waters of mindfulness and and bliss. Not all resolutions commence on January 1. Thank you, Tessa Watt.
